([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Opening Hours and Admission Prices at the Indoor Pool Southwest
For planning a visit, the current opening hours are particularly important, as the Indoor Pool Southwest does not operate continuously throughout the day. According to official information, the pool is closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The last admission is one hour before closing, which is especially helpful for families and late swimmers who do not want to calculate their visit down to the minute. Additionally, the site points out that there may be short-term closures on competition days, making a quick check of the current notice before heading out worthwhile. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
The prices at the Indoor Pool Southwest are also clear and uncomplicated. Starting from February 15, 2026, the single ticket for adults costs 6.00 euros, Family A with one adult and their own children costs 10.10 euros, and Family B with two adults and their own children costs 14.90 euros. Those who swim more frequently can use the semi-annual ticket, which is transferable and can be used once daily. The regular rate is 230.00 euros, and the discounted rate is 160.00 euros. For children and teenagers aged 6 to 17, students, apprentices, and other eligible groups, a reduced admission applies, provided a valid ID is presented. This is especially a practical advantage for regular training visits. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Additionally, the municipal utilities' site offers a value card, which provides a price advantage depending on the amount loaded. Values of 30.00 euros, 50.00 euros, and 100.00 euros are associated with tiered benefits and are issued with a deposit. Important for planning is also: Tickets and value cards are only available at the cash register on-site, not online. Therefore, anyone planning a family outing, a short training session, or a spontaneous swim should consider purchasing at the cash register. Especially with the manageable opening hours, this point is interesting for everyone searching for tickets and wanting a quick, clear answer. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
The 25-Meter Sports Swimming Pool and the Non-Swimmer Pool
The functional heart of the Indoor Pool Southwest is the 25-meter sports swimming pool. The municipal utilities emphasize that it creates good conditions for sportily ambitious swimmers and operates at a water temperature of 27 degrees. This combination makes the facility interesting for everyone who wants to swim laps regularly without relying on a large leisure pool. The indoor pool thus presents itself as a focused place for training, technique, and calm swimming. The official description deliberately speaks of lane by lane, which very well captures the character of the facility: not an overloaded experience pool, but a clear swimming place focused on water time and reliability. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
For children, beginners, and those who prefer a quieter environment, the non-swimmer pool plays the second important role. It is heated to 29.5 degrees, significantly warmer than the sports pool, and features built-in massage jets. This creates an environment suitable not only for beginners but also for relaxed splashing or joint-friendly movement in the water. This versatility of the Indoor Pool Southwest is evident: on one hand, it is a serious training facility, while on the other, it remains family-friendly and inviting. The official communication speaks of the swimming youth feeling comfortable there, which fits well with a pool that does not rely on spectacular extras but focuses on everyday usability. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
From an SEO perspective, this interplay is important because many search queries related to the Indoor Pool Southwest reflect these two needs: sporty swimming and child-friendly swimming. Those searching for 25m pools, non-swimmer pools, or swimming courses are usually not looking for an event location but a reliable, well-regulated facility. The Indoor Pool meets this expectation with clear pool types, defined water temperatures, and information on courses and club usage. This creates a search profile that strongly targets practical information, and a good landing page should respond to this. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Directions to the Indoor Pool Southwest in Ingolstadt
The official address of the Indoor Pool Southwest is Lindberghstraße 71, 85051 Ingolstadt. This clearly locates the pool and allows for easy navigation both for navigation systems and traditional route planning. For public transport, the municipal utilities' site mentions lines 44, 10, and N14 of the INVG; the stop is called Schulzentrum Südwest. This makes the pool easily accessible for visitors without their own car. Those who regularly travel for training or attend a children's course particularly benefit from this clear public transport information, as it simplifies route planning and provides a precise answer to the search query for directions. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
The site also offers a direct link to route planning with Google Maps, which further facilitates practical orientation. However, the official Indoor Pool Southwest site does not mention a specific parking fee or special parking description. From a user's perspective, this means: those arriving by car should check the parking situation shortly before their visit and not rely on a general assumption. This honesty is important for a good location description, as it avoids false promises. Instead of artificially claiming parking comfort, it can be clearly stated that the official site emphasizes public transport and thus focuses on easy access by bus. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Search queries about Lindberghstraße, directions, or the location of the Indoor Pool Southwest also show that many users initially just want to know where the facility is located and how to get there quickly. Therefore, every good SEO description should mention the complete address right at the beginning and not hide the bus connections. Especially for a facility with rather fixed opening hours, clean directions information is often the decisive step between intention and actual visit. The Indoor Pool Southwest meets this requirement very solidly, as the address, stop, and lines are directly visible. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Occupancy Plan, Courses, and Club Usage
A central practical factor at the Indoor Pool Southwest is the current occupancy plan. The municipal utilities link it directly on the official site, and the PDF version for Winter 25/26 shows that the facility is not only open to the public but also used by schools, clubs, and course providers. The plan includes public swimming times, cleaning blocks, school times, and club bookings. This makes the facility interesting for regular swimmers: those who want to know when lanes are free or when a course occupies the pool will find the necessary transparency here. Search intentions like occupancy plan or lane reservations can be very well served, even if the actual reservation always depends on the respective usage plan. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
The course offerings are also well documented officially. Mentioned are aqua jogging courses with Rita Hess, swimming courses through SchwimmStunden.de, as well as crawl courses with further information about the respective provider. Additionally, the site refers to clubs like SC Delphin, ASC Tria Ingolstadt, DJK, Faltbootclub, and DLRG. This shows that the Indoor Pool Southwest is not just a place for leisure visits, but also forms an important training and club infrastructure for Ingolstadt. Those searching for swimming courses, aqua jogging, or club training will find not just an address here, but a functioning network of providers and usage times. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
For editorial classification, this is particularly valuable because it transforms a simple swimming pool page into a relevant information page. People looking for courses do not want a general platitude, but clear indications of providers, times, and responsibilities. The Indoor Pool Southwest fulfills this purpose by not scattering the information but offering it bundled. Those who regularly check the site can better coordinate their swimming visit with school times, club training, or aqua jogging. This turns the keyword course offerings into a real added value for users who appreciate reliable planning. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Women’s Swimming Day, Family Visits, and Practical Notes
Among the special offerings is the Women’s Swimming Day. According to the official site, it takes place on several dates in 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, including on June 1, September 14, November 2, and December 28, 2026. Access is only permitted for female individuals aged 12 and over, while girls and boys under 12 are not allowed to participate. Here too, the last admission is one hour before closing. This offering is clearly defined and targets female visitors looking for a protected and structured swimming appointment. For keyword logic, Women’s Swimming Day is therefore a relevant search term with a concrete usage intention. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Families also benefit from clear advantages. Children up to 5 years can enter the pool for free when accompanied by a person over 16 years. Additionally, companions of people with disabilities with a degree of disability of 50 or more with the mark B receive free admission. For eligible visitors, the discounted rate applies, but only upon presentation of a valid ID. These regulations make it clear that the Indoor Pool Southwest is not only thinking of sporty regular guests but also of families and people with special needs. Especially for the search intention regarding tickets or prices, this information is valuable as it transparently shows who can benefit from what. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Practically important is also the note on the last admission, which is always one hour before closing. Therefore, those who have little time in the evening or on weekends should take this into account when planning their arrival and changing. For a short, well-planned visit, the Indoor Pool Southwest is therefore ideal, as the rules are manageable and the admission structure remains clear. This simplicity makes the facility attractive to many users: one knows in advance when one can enter, how long one can stay, and which rate applies. This reduces uncertainty and increases the chance that a search query will actually lead to a visit. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
Photos, Reviews, and the First Impression on Site
According to the provided Google data, the Indoor Pool Southwest has a rating of 4.3 stars based on 92 reviews. Visitor comments describe the facility as modern, clean, and functional, with particular praise for the 25-meter pool. Although the reviews are very brief, a fairly clear impression emerges: the pool is mainly appreciated for its clarity and swimming-friendly orientation. Those searching for photos or reviews want to get exactly this preliminary impression, not just technical data, but also a quick assessment of whether the facility appears well-maintained and practical. The existing feedback supports this image quite well.
This impression also aligns with the official self-presentation on the municipal utilities' site. There, the Indoor Pool Southwest is described as a place where one forgets everyday life and swims lane by lane. This is not grand event language, but a calm and precise positioning. For search queries regarding photos, reviews, or impressions on site, this is important: a compact, clean, and not overloaded place primarily appeals to people who want to swim purposefully. Therefore, anyone looking for a clear swimming facility with a warm non-swimmer area, a 25-meter lane, and understandable opening hours is likely to feel well accommodated here. ([sw-i.de](https://sw-i.de/freizeit/hallenbad-suedwest/))
For content practice, this means: for an object like the Indoor Pool Southwest, photos and reviews should not be artificially inflated. Much more helpful is an honest classification that takes existing user voices seriously and connects them with the official facts. This is how trust is built. The pool is not a prestige object with a show effect, but a solid swimming facility with clear utility value. This is precisely what makes it relevant in Ingolstadt, as many people are not looking for spectacle but for a reliable indoor pool for training, courses, and family time.
The indoor swimming pool is definitely showing its age. Ingolstadt is bankrupt. Therefore, the urgently needed renovation is unlikely to happen.

I was at the women's swimming day at the Ingolstadt indoor pool today and I am absolutely thrilled! The day was intended only for women – especially nice and pleasant for us hijabis. All windows were covered, the lifeguard was a woman, and from the age of 12, entry was exclusively allowed for girls and women. I felt very respected and comfortable. Everything was super clean and well-maintained, and the entrance fee was fair. A big thank you for this great offer! I really hope that such a women's swimming day is offered at least once a month – it means a lot to many of us. 🙏🌸
