District Sports Facility North-East | Sports Offer & Parking

The District Sports Facility North-East is the official home of TSV Ingolstadt-Nord 1897/1913 e.V. at Wirffelstraße 25 in Ingolstadt and is therefore much more than a single sports field. On the club's website, the location is presented as a sports home with training and occupancy plans, a diverse sports offer, and its own club restaurant. For visitors, it is particularly interesting that not only training and competitions take place here, but also club life, encounters, and events converge. The club also refers to its history of over 125 years, giving the place a developed tradition that is clearly felt in its external impact. Those preparing for a visit will find a mix of clear organization, broad sports usage, and practical infrastructure that works well in everyday life as well as for special events. This connection makes the District Sports Facility North-East relevant for members, families, guests, and event groups alike. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/))

Sports Offer and Training Operations

The sports offer of TSV Ingolstadt-Nord is broad and shapes the daily use of the District Sports Facility North-East. The club's website mentions football, youth football, gymnastics, volleyball, table tennis, karate, kendo, chess, bowling, and billiards, along with offerings such as yoga, Zumba, capoeira, frisbee, weightlifting, ice hockey, amateur radio, and tai chi. This diversity is particularly valuable for a sports facility because it appeals not only to a single target group but connects children, teenagers, adults, and various sporting interests. The website also makes it clear that TSV operates a live training and occupancy plan, showing the current and planned use of the indoor and outdoor facilities. This creates clarity for members and guests and demonstrates that sports operations here are organized, regular, and transparent. In the gymnastics area, this is made particularly concrete: parent-child gymnastics is aimed at children up to four years old, who develop their motor skills playfully with a parent at stations. In artistic gymnastics, gymnasts in childhood and youth train with a view to competitions at the district level and with current competition equipment. Kendo complements this profile as a discipline offered since November 27, 2018; training takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays in the gym, and the department sees itself as a vibrant community for beginners and advanced practitioners. This creates a profile on site that thrives on breadth, youth work, and a demanding training culture at the same time. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/))

Directions and Parking at Wirffelstraße

For practical accessibility, the clear location information is particularly helpful: Wirffelstraße 25, 85055 Ingolstadt. TSV Ingolstadt-Nord lists this address not only as the club and office location but also as a fixed point of reference for members, visitors, and event guests. Additionally, the club's website provides the contact details of the office, including phone, fax, emergency mobile, and email; the opening hours are Tuesday from 14:00 to 18:00, Wednesday from 15:00 to 18:00, and Friday from 11:00 to 12:00, with different times possible during school holidays. However, particularly important for arrival is the note about a large parking lot directly located on the A9, which is also suitable for buses. This combination is very valuable for a district sports facility because it facilitates access for training groups, families, away teams, guests of celebrations, and conference visitors alike. Large vehicles do not need to improvise, and even with parallel sports operations, the location remains well usable. Those choosing the facility as an event venue also benefit from the fact that sports, gastronomy, and parking come together in one place. This makes the journey not an additional organizational problem but a clearly planable part of the visit. Especially during sports afternoons with multiple groups or celebrations with many guests, this infrastructure pays off. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/verein/))

Gymnasium, Outdoor Facilities, and Occupancy Plan

A central feature of the District Sports Facility North-East is the gymnasium, which is explicitly described on the gymnastics page as perfectly tailored to the needs of both departments. There, beginners and advanced practitioners find an environment focused on movement, development, and structured training. A wide selection of small equipment, station training, and current competition equipment such as a pommel horse are mentioned. These details are important because they show that the gym is not just a neutral space but has been actively equipped for various training forms. Parent-child gymnastics can take place here playfully and safely, while artistic gymnastics enables technical and physical preparation for competitive operations. Kendo also uses the gym of TSV Nord, further enhancing the image of a facility open to different disciplines. Additionally, the homepage clearly indicates a training and occupancy plan for the indoor and outdoor facilities. This allows users to see in advance which areas are currently occupied, which sessions are taking place, and how training times overlap or complement other offerings. For clubs, families, and trainers, this means transparency, better coordination, and fewer surprises on site. The combination of gym, outdoor areas, and digitally visible occupancy makes the facility not only versatile in sports but also modern in organization. Those planning sports facilities think not only of individual appointments but of a functioning daily and weekly rhythm for various groups and uses. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/turnen/))

Club Restaurant, Celebrations, and Conferences

In addition to sports operations, the club restaurant forms a second focus of the facility and significantly expands the utility of the location. On the homepage, TSV Ingolstadt-Nord describes a cozy atmosphere with traditional cuisine, where one feels welcome alone, with friends, or with family. For celebrations and conferences, the rooms are designed for groups of 10 to 250 people, making the location interesting for both small gatherings and larger groups. Additionally, event technology is available on site; mentioned are projector, lectern, and microphone. Thus, the District Sports Facility North-East is not only a sports venue but also a place for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and other gatherings. The sports restaurant page underscores this impression and explicitly mentions suitable rooms for unforgettable celebrations. Especially in a club setting, this has a special appeal because sports encounters and shared meals do not have to be separated. A training session can end with a joint visit to the restaurant, a competition with an internal meeting or a celebration, and an external event visit with an uncomplicated parking situation and clear room size. For companies organizing conferences or meetings, the available technology is a practical advantage. This creates a functional mix of gastronomy, events, and club atmosphere that goes far beyond the classic use of a sports facility. This versatility is an important part of the location profile and explains why the facility is attractive not only for sports but also for social and business occasions. History and Profile of TSV Ingolstadt-Nord

The history of the location is closely linked to the club itself. TSV Ingolstadt-Nord appears as TSV Ingolstadt-Nord 1897/1913 e.V. and refers to a tradition of over 125 years. This makes it clear that the District Sports Facility North-East was not created as a short-term project but must be understood as part of a long club development. This background is supported by further elements on the website: there is a club journal that is published quarterly, an online archive with contributions from the departments, an office, a statute, and a clear board structure. This organizational depth shows that the location does not only thrive on individual teams but on a developed club with responsibilities, communication, and volunteer engagement. The club's website also speaks of community, cohesion, and the desire to attract new faces for the sports offer. Additionally, the donation notes make it clear that modernization of sports facilities, youth promotion, and inclusion are explicitly named as goals. This is an important indication of how the club understands its location: not just as managed property but as a place that should be further developed and led into the future. Even new offerings like kendo, which has been offered since November 27, 2018, fit into this image of a lively, evolving club history. The District Sports Facility North-East thus appears both tradition-bound and contemporary, which is attractive for members as well as for people getting to know the location for the first time. Opening Hours, Contacts, and Practical Information

Those who want to use the District Sports Facility North-East specifically will find all basic contact details and opening hours of the office on the club's website. This facilitates preparation when it comes to membership, inquiries, organizational concerns, or general information. The fixed times on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are particularly important for everyday life, along with the note that opening hours may change during school holidays. At the same time, the sports pages provide practical information about individual offerings that reflect the character of the location very well. For parent-child gymnastics, prior registration via email is required; comfortable clothing is recommended, and street shoes are not allowed. For artistic gymnastics, there is a special trial training that is usually offered only after prior registration and typically once a year. For kendo, prior registration is also required; training is barefoot, and participants are expected to arrive about 15 minutes before the training starts. These details are valuable for visitors because they show that many offerings, while open and inviting, are still organized and pay attention to safety and clear processes. Together with the live training and occupancy plan, this creates a location that is not only visible but also well planable. Those who register, observe the times, and read the department's notes can use the District Sports Facility North-East very specifically. For families, sports enthusiasts, and club friends, this is particularly pleasant because the first visit quickly becomes an orderly and understandable process. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/verein/))

Overall, the District Sports Facility North-East in Ingolstadt shows a rarely clear profile: a traditional club, a frequently used sports facility, a well-equipped gymnasium, a restaurant with event rooms, and an infrastructure that connects training, meetings, and celebrations in one place. Those seeking sports, community, and practical accessibility will find a location that convincingly brings these requirements together. The most important information is openly available on the club's website, allowing visitors, members, and event groups to orient themselves without detours. ([tsv-nord.de](https://tsv-nord.de/))

During the pandemic, of course, nothing is happening here, and no sports are being played, but the small playground in the courtyard is still accessible. Admittedly, it's not exactly a highlight. However, it offers a bit of peace and quiet without being immediately overrun by other families.

Plenty of parking. Large inn with a lovely balcony. Very good food. The hall is showing its age. And the restrooms, toilets, etc., are not very impressive.

The food was absolutely delicious again – as always. The soundproofing between the rooms definitely needs to be improved. You can't hear anything in your own room when there's an event going on in the next room. It's a shame, otherwise everything would be fantastic. Service and food were top-notch. 👍👍
