Wildpark am Baggersee: Upcoming Events and Guided Tours

Public Guided Tours with the Forestry Office (Spring and Fall 2026)

For 2026, public, free nature and wildlife park tours are planned in two seasonal windows:

• Spring 2026: natural history walks with insights into wildlife biology and habitats
• Fall 2026: themed tours focusing on the behavior and ecology of native hoofed animals

The specific dates, meeting points, and registration information will be announced in advance via municipal information channels. Participant numbers may be limited; pre-registration may be required.

Season Highlights 2026 (date-specific, weather-dependent)

• January–February 2026: guided winter stalking walks in the early afternoon
• May–June 2026: family nature days with learning stations along selected park paths
• September–October 2026: evening observation appointments for activity phases of hoofed game

Holiday Programs for Children and Youth (2026)

Thematic short workshops and hands-on formats are planned for the Bavarian school holidays in 2026. Program focuses vary depending on the holiday period:

• Spring/Easter Holidays 2026: introduction to aquarium basics and responsible care
• Whitsun Holidays 2026: focuses on habitats and continents
• Summer Holidays 2026: weekly theme days with insights into terrarium keeping and biodiversity
• Autumn Holidays 2026: focus on protection strategies and species conservation for small animals

Dates, age requirements, duration, and booking details will be published four to six weeks before the start of each holiday. Places are usually limited.

Theme and Action Days (ongoing 2026)

• Spring 2026: reptile focus with short lectures and guided insights at selected tanks
• Early Summer 2026: amphibian spotlight with observation stations
• Autumn 2026: late afternoon program "Behind the Scenes" with staggered small groups

The final time slots and tickets/reservations will be communicated in advance via the official channels of the small zoo.
